Otrzymaliśmy od Neevora informację (dzięki), która może być przydatna dla fanów przeglądarkowych gier MMO, w szczególności firmy Kabam. Warto zmienić swoje hasła!
On or about September 9, 2013, our servers detected a security breach
in connection with the forums accessed through the Kabam.com site at
community.kabam.com. Kabam has eliminated the vulnerability that led
to the breach and believes the site is now secure.Your account username and password, email address, and birth date were
stored on the server and were potentially vulnerable.Additionally, if you joined the forums through Facebook Connect, your
Facebook user ID and your first and last name (as provided on your
Facebook account) were also stored. If you provided your ICQ, AIM,
Yahoo, MSN, and/or Skype username on your forum account, this
information was also stored on the site where the security breach was
detected.Other than your email, username, and password, which are necessary for
you to log in and use the site, Kabam has deleted or cached all of
your other information contained on the site.Kabam believes the site has been properly secured and has no evidence
that any information contained on the site was used, and the
vulnerable passwords were in hashed form, rather than plain text. But to reduce overall risk to the minority of Kabam.com users whose
password hashes were potentially vulnerable, we are requiring them to
create a new password. To the extent you accessed the forums through
your Facebook account, we encourage you to change your password at
Facebook as well. To the extent that you use either of these passwords
for other accounts, you should also change the passwords on those
accounts. For more information or to contact support, please fill out a support
request.
